Our Team

TatyanaIrininaDr. Tatyana Irinina, PT  joined our team in 2004 as a staff physical therapist and now serves as the medical director of Staten Island Center for Alternative Therapies.  Before immigrating to the United States, she worked as a surgical nurse in Russia.  In the United States she continued to advance her medical career by achieving her   Doctoral Degree in Physical therapy from Long Island University.  When Tatyana was in school she made the Dean’s List and was awarded several scholarships for her outstanding achievements.  She started her career as a physical therapist at the Aqua Rehabilitation Center in Brooklyn. It was here that Tatyana mastered her clinical skills as an outpatient specialist.
Dr. Tatyana Irinina is well known for her patience and devotion to her patients.  Her previous experience as a nurse gives her unique perspectives when rehabilitating patients after various surgical procedures.  Furthermore Dr. Irinina has studied the techniques of trigger point release and the Mulligan method to further deepen her already varied orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.  Tatyana is also certified as an early intervention pediatric therapist.  She is well known as a specialist in treatment of congenital (inborn) torticollis in infants.  Dr. Irinina’s outstanding achievement in this area is recognized by both her medical peers and the community at large. In fact, she was asked to participate in a TV show devoted to the treatment of torticollis. 
Dr. Tatyana Irinina is trying to integrate three basic components of physical therapy - modalities, manual work and therapeutic exercise into her approach of treatment of various musculoskeletal and neurological disorders.  Her warm personality, open mind and professional skills have created a loyal following amongst her patients.


AlekseyKhomenkoAleksey Khomenko B.S., LMT, established Staten Island Center For Alternative Therapies. As an accomplished licensed massage therapist, Aleksey has eighteen years  experience of rehabilitating people to full health using the finest manual techniques. As the leading massage therapist of the facility, Aleksey insures all of our treatments fulfill the needs of the patient insuring their complete satisfaction and return to function. Aleksey’s experience, gained through treating thousands of patients, allows him to quickly determine the patient’s needs and help them speedily and efficiently  complete their  therapy.

Aleksey was born and raised  in the  Ukraine. Since the age of twelve, Aleksey has been a professional weightlifter and holds two  national championship titles in the 52 kilogram category. At eighteen years old, he became a Master of Sport in The Former USSR, which is known as the highest honor in sports. Soon after, Aleksey enrolled at Lvov State Institute of Physical Culture in Ukraine, where he studied Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation for five years. When he immigrated to The United States, he graduated from the Somerset School of Massage Therapy and became a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.  Aleksey is licensed  to practice Massage and Body Work in the states of New York and New Jersey.

Since becoming a massage therapist, Aleksey sought out  the finest rehabilitation centers to continuously hone his skills. He holds many certificates and continues his education in: Therapeutic, Deep tissue, Myofascial, Neuro-Muscular, Stress & Pain Reduction, Sport, Prenatal, and Swedish massage and  Joint mobilization and stretching techniques


AnatolyGoldman


Anatoly Goldman, LMT - Anatoly has more than two decades of experience in rehabilitation and massage therapy. His wide and varied skill set includes: deep tissue work, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, trigger point release, prenatal massage and medical massage therapy. He received his training at the Wellness Massage Training School in Illinois, the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy and New York University. Anatoly has special training in the treatment of sport related injuries. Always one to be professionally active, he is a member of the International Massage Association (IMA) and the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA)
Sports related injuries have always held a special interest for Anatoly. In fact, he was a massage therapist for the Chicago Bears football team from 1993 to 1994. Presently, Anatoly is a member of New York Road Runners medical team. Here he performs a vital service for the club members while maintaining an active commitment to the treatment of athletic injuries.
Besides his varied and unique massage skills, Anatoly is  certified as a personal trainer from the International Sport and Fitness Training Association (ISFTA).
